Biography

Manik Bandopadhaya was a Bengali writer who is regarded as one of the greatest Bengali novelists of all time. His fiction includes more than two hundred short stories and thirty-six novels such as Putul Nacher Itikotha (The Puppet's Tale), Podda Nodir Majhi (The Boatman of The Padma), Jononi (Mother), and Dibaratrir Kabbo (Poetry of the Day and Night).
