Adolfo Torrado

Adolfo Torrado Estrada (La Coruña, May 2, 1904 - Madrid, July 12, 1958) was a Spanish comedy writer, very popular in the 40s and 50s, brother of film director Ramón Torrado. In his theatrical pieces, characteristics such as sentimentality and easy humor are appreciated. Later he forged a dramatic formula that has come to be called "the epic of upstart."
